Candle Maintenance
To maximize the lifespan and overall burn time of your candle we compiled a few tips to help you get the most out of your candle.
THE FIRST BURN.
When lighting for the first time, keep it burning until the wax fully melts across the top width of the candle. This will create an even burn, prevent tunneling, and will also release maximum scent throw. This process takes about 1 to 3 hours depending on the size of the vessel.
PLACEMENT.
To create a slower and controlled flame burn away from drafty areas, fans or any other air currents.
TRIM THE WICK
Trimming down the wick before each burn will help control the size of the flame and create a longer burn time.
REMOVE DEBRIS.
To provide a cleaner burn keep the wax free of wick trimmings, dust, and any other debris. Place a cover on the top when not burning.
Candle Safety
- Place on a heat resistant surface that is leveled and stable
- Burn within sight and never while sleeping
- Keep away from children and pets
- Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
- Discontinue use once there is ¼ inch of wax left
